National Science Challenge 2010
Once again, our beloved MS4 is in the limelight!! Not surprising indeed...On Mon 6th of September 2010, Keshava S.Appadu and Vignesh Gokhool came up as 2nd runners up in the above-mentioned competition. They won a cash prize of Rs10,000 after their wet baby diaper alarm project made a resounding success.

Regional / National Cross-Country 2010
Mootoocoomaren Sangeelee SSS was honoured on the 22nd April 2010 when Brandon Catherine, Shameem Toofany, Mooneesawmy Toriden, Munisamy Kreshan and Lukea Jeetesh came out first to snatch the gold medals in the annual regional & national cross-country. Three cheers for MS4...Hip hip hip..hurray!!

Community-based activity (Visit to "Babooram Ashram" @ Chemin Grenier)
A group of form 5Blue students have visited the nearby "ashram" as part and parcel of our school actvities. There, we have organised a small party for the old persons living there. Lunch was served accompanied with music. The commitment of the teachers and students involved made the activity a big success at the community level.

Sundial Competition For Secondary School
In the context of the International Year of Astronomy (IYA) 2009, the University of Mauritius in collaboration with the Ministry of Education had organised the "sundial" competition where a project had to be submitted by the 14th August 2009. The project consisted of designing an old clock which works according to the sun positions during the day.
A group of form 4 Blue students: Swadesh Dhurmea, Yogin Suttroogun, Waseem Kaudeer, Sarvesh Mayputh, Bala Gopala Ramaya and Indraraj Somrah participated under the guidance of Mr Mungly - Physics teacher. They came up 2nd runner-up at the prize-giving ceremony which was held at the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre, Bell Village. Minister Gokhool graced the function. A cash prize of Rs5,000 was awarded to them.

Inter-College African Competition
Congratulations to M.Sangeelee SSS!!! Our college got a place on the podium in the badminton tournament for the above competition which took place at the sports complex in Rose Hill. The following students: Yogin Suttroogun, Stephen Perne, Deepak Suttroogun, Abhishek Ittea, Heeramun, Baish and Juggurnath came up as 2nd runners up along with St-Andrews College. St-Esprit won the gold medal whilst St-Joseph secured the second place.
